Dallas Performance Twin Turbo Race Spec Superleggera
I wanted to take a minute to thank Joel for choosing Dallas Performance to build his 2008 Superleggera. Joel went with our Race Spec 1 twin turbo setup which makes 1000+whp on pump gas and 1600whp on race fuel. Our RS-1 combo uses a unique boost control strategy that has worked very well for us, as well as offers a larger twin intercooler design and many other upgrades.
Joel went with our full MoTeC setup, our full billet helical transmission upgrades, billet axles, carbon clutch, and so on.
If you've paid any attention to Lamborghini's, you know how neat the Superleggera models are. There were a little over 170 of these 2008 Superleggeras made and less than 10 of them were made in a 6 speed manual transmission.
Since we couldn't find any manual transmission SL for sale at the time, Joel asked us to convert this SL from Egear to a real manual setup. The result is a stock looking and performing combo with no check engine lights or anything.
The e-gear transmission is fun and does offer very quick shifting at the touch of a paddle but there is just something about that feel you get from a real manual trans and rowing the gears.
