Couple more pictures. To make the OEM parts in the engine bay as nice as the rest of the turbo system we strip and powder coat everything possible. Here is a picture of some of the parts back from powdercoating.

This is a cool picture. Each of our built transmissions are completely dis-assembled and all hard parts are micro polished. This process reduces wear by minimizing friction and improves shifting and syncronizer engagement which the manual transmission guys can feel and E-gear cars will benefit from longer life.

Robert also decided to have us powdercoat the wheels black while we had the car, and also went with a new set of Toyo R888 tires to put down the power.

This is a Stage 3 build with upgraded Race Spec heads and our street clutch. Approx 1000whp on pump and 1300whp on race gas.

Not sure about the roll event. But he's planning on doing some street testing down there

Like all of our twin turbo Gallardo builds Robert's Superleggera is getting our proprietary Mil-Spec custom wiring harness and MoTeC ECU setup.

Here is a picture of the system laid out before installation.

All of us here at Dallas Performance want to thank Robert for letting us twin turbo his beautiful black Superleggera. Robert went with our Stage 3+ system with our billet quiet helix drop gearing and billet intermediate case, full forged and sleeved engine and upgraded to our Race Spec 1 cylinder heads, MoTeC setup, etc.

We will be putting some break in miles on the street clutch and then dyno it before sending it home this week. We will stop the power at 1000whp on 93 octane and 1300whp on race fuel, which retains our full 2 year / 24k mile warranty.

This build was completed in 6 weeks, using the customers engine and transmission, not a core. Not bad for one of the busiest times in the year for us.

If anyone is interested in a similar build please feel free to contact me:

Congratulations to DFGDTT on your build. A TT 6-Speed SL has got to be immense fun.

Props to Taylor for getting this done in this time period at this time of year. I followed your work back when you were more heavily involved in the Corvette scene and your work was always top shelf. Hoping you guys have something up your sleeve for this race season.
