Gallardo Owners: Daily driver?

Hey guys,

Love the Gallardo, but wondering how dependable it is as a daily driver. My understanding is it comes with a 2 year warranty. I don't want a garage queen. I drive my TT everyday and am not worried about mileage or resale values. I just want to drive it!!

I think my Porsche is pretty much bullet proof. What is the experience of G-owners who have had them since '04? Does it require significant maintenance and trips to the shop?

Thanks

I heard that the clutch are vulnerable to slow traffic driving similar to CGT.

car is german engineered. A no brainer as a daily driver first 12000 miles
spent 275 on 1500 miles service. spent 465 on 7500 mile service. thats it
no problems. at 12000 miles computer showed 8000 more miles clutch life.

This car is not a daily driver ... It is low to the ground and commands loads of attention wherever you go ... Extremely low cockpit style seating and right rear view (4 o'clock) visibility is impossible ... Very loud and you can feel every thing on the ground ... Steering demands attention as opposed to the forgiving turbo ... You are always worried about the car as it can't be hidden away at the movie theater parking lot like the turbo ...

This is a weekend, date, night out go to dinner car ...

I LOVE IT!

Does it have over-steer problems?

im 100% with Dario... people follow me...camera phone pictures at almost every stop light... cant park it anywhere and if you do you have hand prints all over the window and car when you return. AWSOME car but I recomment a daily beater. I have my H2 and my wifes 645 as beaters.
