I plan on getting a Gallardo in the not too distant future. I believe it can handle the daily grind, BUT I wouldn't use it that way.
I think you would be making a big mistake having it as your only mode of transportation. Now, if you do have an alternate "extra" car the told you so's would be kept to a minimum.
There's an easy way to handle the nagging spouse: Buy her a 430 Spider.

Seriously, though, you won't have this problem. This is a big benefit of Audi's influence on Lamborghini. My '04 was my only mode of transportation for the year I lived in Newport. Never once an issue or a problem.

Seriously.

I've heard nothing but good things about reliability... Audi has clearly done something right with all the new Lambos..

*Subscribed* - since my dad is considering either an F-430 or Gallardo, which MUST be able to be daily driven considering they're not made to sit in the garage all year

Get a 997 as a daily driver. Enough said.

Possible - but only with front lift and get an 05 or later (yes, I know frontlift is standard in US but here its not and mine didn't have it as it was one of first 04s so driving on bumps was a major PITA!!)
Let us know when it arrives
