Gallardo as Daily driver?

Hello, I'm contemplating switching from my Supercharged '02 Carrera 4 Cabriolet to either a new Porsche TT or a Gallardo Cabriolet, but the car has to be driven daily.
Will a Gallardo give me too many problems if driven daily? or does Lambo now have a reliability record similar to Porsche?
Oh yeah, the car will have to go to the track about 3 times per year too.

from what I've read the Lambo is a pretty reliable dd, however, that being said, IMO nothing will beat a Porsche ias a daily driver.

daily driver.....yeAH RIGHT.

THE CAR HAS A VERY LOW FRONT END AND STIFF SUSPENSION, BLIND SPOTS AND NOT THE EASIEST CAR TO DRIVE.

I drive country roads to my office and the Gallardo(6sp) could work as a daily.I bought mine last fall and have put over 4k on it with no issues at all.
If you are doing city driving,I wouldn't do it.It sits a lot lower than the Porsche,is a lot wider and has a fairly heavy clutch.
Beyond that...I don't miss my 993TT at all..The Gallardo delivers.

I would not recommend the Gallardo as a daily driver.

I would recommend the Galalrdo as a daily driver.

I fell in love with my Gallardo on a trip from Hollywood to Newport Beach. Traffic was brutal. It was about 92°. I put the car in automatic and yacked on the phone for the 3 hours the trip took. I had the A/C blasting, never once crossed 40 mph and the temperature gauge never cracked the half-way mark.

I drove my Gallardo daily, although, I only had it for 3.5 months, I loved every minute... Mine was lowered and had aftermarket wheels and was still a complete joy every step of the way...

Not looking for practicality.
I wanted to know if it's mechanically reliable enough to be driven daily, lack of trunk space, low front end, difficult driving etc.., I take for granted
What I am trying to avoid is a nagging spouse who will say "I told you so" everytime I ask for a ride back from the dealer because the car is down for service.

1.)mechanically reliable enough to be driven daily-YES
2.)lack of trunk space-YES (what you can expect?)
3.)low front end-Depends (Just learn how to drive, 05' with the lift system is not a problem)
4.)difficult driving-Not at all

For sure you know that better than me...but don't you think using the lifting system everytime is annoying!?

Anyway the Porsche is also well known to be a daily drivable car...I see 997s around my city having no problems and running very well.

No more annoying than driving something that's NOT a Lamborghini.

I plan on getting a Gallardo in the not too distant future. I believe it can handle the daily grind, BUT I wouldn't use it that way.
I think you would be making a big mistake having it as your only mode of transportation. Now, if you do have an alternate "extra" car the told you so's would be kept to a minimum.
