Whats to see? That a car that is half the size of a Murci can keep up with it on a tight oval? If you like Top Gear, than look at the times on their real racecourse, the Murci smoked it.

i've BEEN (not seen) in a Vmax event in Japan before (this summer), and there were a long straight to see which of the exotic cars bought accelerated the fastest in the stretch..

EVO 9? forget it, unless you got like 20 grand worth of mods dumped along with some slicks, you will get owned by the murci..

THe murcilago in that event (stock) kept up with

Z06s - neck to neck most of the time, the lambo edged out slightly at the end
Ford GT - ford gt left the lambo at the beginning, but the Murci fought back and were neck to neck at the end.

and heres the big one, Nissan Skyline GT-R Z-Tuned!
THe gtr left it dusting at around 1/4 mile, but the Murci slowly paced up and the gtr was about 1 car behind at the end of the stretch

 

One problem with the Top Gear video is that it was an Evo FQ400. 400hp, not 280, or whatever the US spec is. That's quite a difference. If you told Clarkson to try the same thing with a normal Evo, he'd probably **** himself laughing and then make fun of you.

 

Are you talking about the C6 Z06? Also, im assuming the Ford Gt left the Murci at the beginning due to an easy launch on the Murci? Ive been in both the GT and then the Murci, and the Ford did not feel any quicker down low, and the murci seemed to pull harder up top. Also, having driven the C6 Z06 that didnt feel any quicker than my Murci either.

 

Evo Is Far Much Inferior In Every Sense

 

I don't have audio on this work computer, but I believe that was the Evolution 9 MR FQ400 which is a step up from your average Evo-9 MR which is another step up from the plain old Evo
