Good luck in your search. I always loved your M3 and 996, so I'm sure your G will keep up the pattern.
Honestly i dont know, those figures are very high for just an airbox, straight pipes and software, i dont buy it but who knows! It seems as if people just disconnect the front driveshaft also, and yes thanks, although my next car i wont be modding though (within reason)

you can get 04's in the 135's if you can find some strong leads. roy from catsexotic is the most well known for deep pricing on lambos. if you can i would try to stretch your dollars to get an 06. but at worst get an 05 cause you will at least have the hydralic lift which in this car is a must. good luck.

lowiestpricing:
04-135
05-155
06-169

this was a few months back but the demand for these cars seem to be rising.

Hmm in that case I can get an 06 no prob. I mean I was seeing and planning on picking up an 04-05 from 150-170k, I would love to know where your finding these prices, 165 for an 06

I don't think 06 is the same as SE. All SE are 06, but not all 06 are SE.

Just keep the 996TT a bit longer until 06 is in your range.

They made 250 of the 2006's be SE (Special Edition) Gallardos.
The performance levels of the 2 are the same, but the black accents of the Se are to die for!!

Do the G-thing to get it out of your system. Then go back to GT2 and appreciate it like a true Porsche enthusiast.

I agree, you won't be able to truly appreciate the nature of the GT2 if you have the Gallardo on your mind all the time.

Yea, i just wanted to know if the performance increase/gearing was different for the SE only, not aesthetics, and yes the SE is gorgeous!!!

Gotta ask, since i havent asked and havnt seen it anywhere in the thread or any other. Have you driven the GT2, GT3, and G? it would be great if you could drive them one after another.

No way i could drive a 997GT3, been in a Gallardo not driven, and the local ones wont let you drive unless seriously interested, all egear too And GT2 ive been in, that's not the problem. Pretty much impossible to do comparo's of each !

Very true. I was actually referring to a 996 GT3 just to get an idea because the 997 GT3 should be even better.
