The car has had "gas" issues since day one. The gauge was broken, the sensor unit, all kinds of ****. Something gas related caused the fire from what I'm told. I'm sad to see such a beauitful car destroyed, but I'm glad everyone was ok! I still remember the day we got it and the day it left!

I spoke to Chris the day it happend while in Mexico. It was fuel related, but bottom line no one was hurt.

I think not.
Not really, my 99 996C2 was fires couple years ago at the gas station. It can be happen to any car.

Glad everyone is fine.
