Not yet, but I organize drives for Lambo owners and mod one of their forums.

I'm reviving a dead thread, but got a couple questions I couldn't find an answer via searching to the below 2 questions:

1) What is the "actual" cost of replacing a clutch in a 6-Spd Gallardo at a reputable, including parts & labor? Can anyone narrow down the actual price range to a plus or minus $500? Given decent to good driving skills, how many miles should a new style clutch last in a Gallardo that is not tracked?

2) What is the "actual" cost of replacing the F&R brake pads and rotors in a Gallardo? Again, as accurate of a range as possible please. I would also like to know how long the F&R pads should last on a Gallardo that isn't tracked.

I am looking around for a Gallardo to buy, but a couple I am looking at may need a new clutch & brakes soon, so I would like to factor that into what I
offer for the cars.

Thank you in advance guys, I can't wait until I pick one up so I can stop asking questions about the car...

Clutch can range from about $4,500 to about 10k depending on dealer and who is doing the service. realistically it should be about 5grand or so...as it was to swap a Southbend DXD into my 996.

Brakes are just big *** brembos on there i believe and its like swapping any other high-end brake pad...it's been a little while for me, but its a couple hundred a corner at least (maybe 300 per corner?) i believe when i swapped the pads on my set of StopTech's.

I just had my first service on my 08 and it was about 400 for an oil change, fluids, etc. Considering the amount of oil that goes in and the incredible service provided by the dealer = totally worth it.

you want to get really scared...there is a place in FLA that has their Lambo maintenance schedule posted online and it has crap like thousands of dollars for your first oil change....silly stuff. but i guess somewhere people pay it.
Lambo of Washington DC i believe has a nice FAQ section that may answer your questions as well.

They are expensive, yes. Insanely expensive compared to any other super high end car, no. Even compared to very highly tuned M3s, S4s, and then obviously the porsche TTs and such, nothing on this car has scared me thus far. And like i think someone else said - the 08s+ have 3 years of unlimited mileage warranty. These cars are solid and the factory wants them to be DRIVEN, not sit as garage queens.

Here - its actually Prestige in Miami. 7500 mile service- covering topping off fluids and an oil change = $1,500-$1,650

Here the link for the HTML of their PDF of XLS or whatever is linked off their site.

I've been around modding cars for about 14 years now, and I've always put on new cross drilled rotors when i change brake pads, because I was under the impression that cross drilled rotors, which the Gallardo has, CANNOT be resurfaced (because of the drilled holes in the rotor) to prep them for the new brake pads to seat properly. You guys actually keep the rotors and resurface them and just put new pads? Or do you just throw on new pads on the rotors and not turn them at all?

just had one of the Gallardo's serviced. general service/inspection cost $1117.22

included all fluids/filters/gaskets changed. not too bad considering a similar service for the Subaru cost half as much.
