This is how Supercars should be driven.
The "Fast Fleet" is one of the best parts about EVO. I like that their writers can afford some solid stuff (RS4, V8 Vantage, Murcielago, Zonda, etc.). The writer who owns the Lambo drives it daily in London...rain, sleet, sun.
its simple as those cars are just not built to be daily drivers... they require way to much maintainence and they just brings worry to you all the time no matter where you park when you take it out for dinner... its just too much work to drive such a car everyday... i would love to have one in the near future to drive maybe once or twice a week but i'd pick MANY OTHER cars over those things to drive every day... they are just not very ergonomical and economical to drive every day... period...

In the same way, most people browsing around a Suzuki dealer couldn't afford the depreciation of driving a Porsche or a BMW every day. It is all a matter of perspective. I certainly couldn't afford to drive one of the exotic cars every day but I know that there are plenty of people who can. Whether or not it is the best choice for them and whether or not they are sufficiently practical is another story. If I could afford to lose $20k in the value of the car, pay $15k in maintenance, and could avoid steep inclines I would drive the 360 every day, but I can't. If I was richer, that might not be an issue, except they still have to use the same roads. You make some valid points but blanket statements about the economic viability of daily driving a Murcielago or any supercar aren't always true.

I had the pleasure of meeting Simon while I was at Sant'Agata last September. Hell of a nice guy! Gave me his business card.
Last I checked his Murcie is at 45,000+ miles. He uses his 360 for groceries

I read in the magazine 3 days ago, in the January issue that the owner spent a total of $58K on that Murci, in 1 year. (If my memory serves me correct). I think it might've been $158K. Either one...

have you ever driven one??
It can easily be used daily
If you can afford to do so
I would if I could, but I cant, I need a truck for my daily needs

it would be funny to see a Diablo towing though
Which reminds me,and this may sound dumb/
, but, why doesn't the LP have heated or electric seats? I asked the Sales guy when I placed the order for mine and he couldn't provide me with a convincing answer.. And when the car is of such proportions, why not provide with a rear view camera for reversing?

Im guessing weight...and its Italian, would you really feal comfortable with a fire hazzard on your ***?
I think heated seats are dumb, after sitting in for 2 mins your butt provides enough heat
dont know about the rear camera. The first owner of my car had on put in and wired into the monitor. I never really use it. Either look over my shoulder or my favorite, open the door and sit on the sill
When I sold my Porsche and bought my brand new '05 Murcielago, I was surprised at how easy the car was to drive. I sold it a few months ago with 9700 miles on the clock. Never an issue, clutch was still strong, and had a blast with that car. I think it's on it's fourth owner now though?
