I was looking on eBay and came across this listing:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2004-...QQcmdZViewItem

Looks like a reputable seller, maybe he made a mistake with the BIN price?

Looks like a nice clean G...wish I had 120k laying around i'd be all over this one!

Roy is definitely as reputable as they come. This car is an anomaly though since it has a rebuilt engine. The car is probably fine; it's just that a new engine is considered to be a "story car". If you don't plan on reselling the car, it's a phenomonal deal. Normal FMV is closer to $137K.

Yup. Unfortunately it's a flappy.

I suspect '04's will be in the 100's by this fall, especially if they "freshen" the '08.

... at which point, it may be time for the boost.

Sure, as long as you can wait 2-3 years. Unless, of course, you want a "story" car or high miles.

It depends on the story and it depends on the mods.

Also, prices are always the lowest in December and January, so you'll find bargains this time of the year.

Don't y'all remember, a lot of '01 996TT had their engine replaced by Porsche. I think this is a good buy consider a brand new engine with factory warranty.

Yea, you should snap it up before someone else does. Let's see $127K + about $10K sales tax + $3K license plus delivery. Should be worth spending $140K for a car that's probably okay.

on M5board, the Gallardo owners on there said they all got rid of their Gallardos because of transmission issues.

Really made me question the Gallardo's tranny.
