2. If you have to ask you cant afford one
3. Its e-gear and it will be debated by enthusiasts forever as to whats better so pick what you like since your *** has to drive it.
4. Lots of mods for bolt ons i.e. exhaust/ intake, plus great wheel/audio/ custom setups are common
5. A hell of a lot better looking and way more attention grabbing than a P-car but probably slower

second your statement is very arrogant and close minded. I make intelligent decesions before spending money. refrain from posting on this thread as you obviously have nothing of value to say

Drove my brothers Murci yesterday - great car, here are my opinions/thoughts in regards to your questions:
'm in the market for a merci. Please give me some info
1- how reliable are they
As with any italian exotic, some issues are "expected". Look for 03+ as from what I've researched, these years tend to be the most reliable.
2- what is the average cost for maintance
Relatively "cheap" - assuming nothing catastrophic, standard maintenance will be less than $3K a year.
3- 6 speed or f1
6 Speed if you're concerned about maintenance, F1 if you can't drive stick
The gate takes some getting used to as does the driving position
4- any performance upgrades available
Of course, as with any car - check out sp-power.com
5- I have a 750hp 996tt now how does it compare
Apples and oranges...

37K miles. That's how u're suppose to drive a Lambo, if i had one I'd put about 80,000 miles on it.

.I followed this article in Top Gear magazine pretty close from the beginning, this particle article is the from January.
Their Lambo was on the track a LOT though hence the number of times he had to get a new clutch. I think the oil pump, water pump, and clutch are the major weak points on that car.

Jags, your TT looks amazing! Anyways, it's annoying how some 23 y.o. kid who probably doesn't even own a TT yet alone any Lambo would hate on people trying to do a little research which is why this forum exists.
