Hahaha... Russ, Thanks for the catch! (thumbs up!)... will you be running this year Player's Run? I'm already IN! September 11-16. From Calgary to Cabo San Lucas!
No. Im not a hater. I just have a problem with kids who never worked a day in their life and their daddy buys them whatever car their little heart desires. Cars such as these are for people who have worked hard and achieved something in life. Not kids who can't wipe their *** without asking daddy first.

^^^ Dude, relax...this is a car fourm not Dr. Phil's Forum.

We are all here to look at the CARS - not question the owners. IF you have something to ask about the car, or the options, etc...then by all means, post up! Or if youd like to say something nice...go for it!

Posts like this are useless. We dont care what you think on the subject of wealthy families or young guys with nice cars.

Stig, sick car man...are those the pics from the dealer??? They look good...but id like to see some of the beast in its natural environment (Miami!)

Congrats

Lovely car! It's def a beautiful machine. Sad to see the CGT leave!

To the hater: As mentioned before, we are not here to judge owners, we are here to chat about cars. Just because someone comes from a wealthy family, doesn't mean they are no good spoiled brats. I say more power to them! Lot's of these so called "rich kids" are hard workers, trying to make a start of their own life, and may one day surpass their families wealth, they just happen to be lucky enough to have all the wonderful toys in the meantime. No need to hate on them. Just enjoy what you have, and leave it alone.

So funny how, we all want the best for our kids, but when we see a rich kid driving an exotic we assume he's spoiled already..LOL
By the time my 6 year old reaches 21 and finish college, I will buy him the most exspensive car on the planet as well..I will never let my kids go thru what me and my dad went thru.. i'll tell him to take business and finance and invest after he turns 16..no 8-5 jobs..

There's no such thing as Porsche chasis, suspension and handling. The Gallardo has the lack of that quick response from the steering wheel that you get in the Carrera S, which I believe is due to the AWD in the Gallardo. But in OVERALL being a convertible I couldn't be happier!!!

PLUS that V10 really screams! Much louder than the CGT... not as nice as the CGT but I'm more than happy with it!

The E-GEAR rocks!!! in normal mode and automatic is great for crusing around town and stop lights. It drives like a regular automatic car. If you like to do the job and also in normal mode is great! but when you are about to hit the rev limiter at about 7800rpm it shifts by itself, but in SPORT mode everything changes!!! there comes the FUN part... the traction/estability control comes much later and this car loves to powerslide!!! no understeer at all... just oversteer!!! and you can really feel the differential changing gears under your seat when you push it all the way to 8000RPM (where it stays unless you shift) The hydraulic lifter is great!!! Also the brakes (made by Brembo) perform 10/10 with the Pirelli's. And despite the weight of the car I believe it's quite fast!

and the hole package is great... TOP DOWN... FREEWAY... DOWNSHIFT TO 2ND GEAR IN SPORT MODE AND ACCELERATE IT ALL THE WAY TO ITS LIMITS FEELING THAT SOLID GEAR CHANGE IN JUST A FRACTION OF A SECOND!

What really surprised me is the feedback that you get from the paddles between the gear changes... because you may have a really fast system as the SMG or DSG but what I care the most is the moment that you press the paddle... the SMG has quite some lag (not the gearbox itself, but from the moment that you press the paddle it takes a little while to gear) In the Gallardo this does not happen... As soon as you press the paddle you shift!

Well... Hope you like it! I DO!!!!
DAMN! that rocks!! nice write-up! enjoy in good health brotha!

Thanks for the nice inputs!!! As always

And for Mr. Hater... I do work hard. I went to study Economics with a mayor in Finance at the University of Miami when I was sixteen and started by doing some real state aquisitions (of course with my father's help) and after those properties were sold and I came back to Argentina 4 years ago (being 19 at that time) I started my own business while working at my father's holding, which I already added two new companies to it and my own financial firm, which you can see at www.sgiargentina.com

So... I'm 23 and i do OK by myself... no need for daddy... although he loves giving... Just like I'd do if I had a son!!!

+1. money is earned to be spent. if spoiling the kid is the pappy's source of happiness, all the power to him. I wouldn't mind having a dad like Stig's, that's just a wonderful blessing.

Love the color combo on your G, any mods planned?

Awesome car man, but are you saying that the car never goes past the redline? (If im reading your post correctly, I think im reading that it doesn't go past 8k RPM but the gauge does go to 10k rpm, right?)
