Hey guys! I've been in Miami last week and got a 2007 Gallardo Spyder E-Gear.
I'm totaly in love with the car! The Ride is much nicer than I thought it would be, the sound is just amazing and there's one more thing... It's just GORGEOUS to stare at in every angle!

Coming from driving a modded Carrera S and GT3 this car is much much different.
There's no such thing as Porsche chasis, suspension and handling. The Gallardo has the lack of that quick response from the steering wheel that you get in the Carrera S, which I believe is due to the AWD in the Gallardo. But in OVERALL being a convertible I couldn't be happier!!!
PLUS that V10 really screams! Much louder than the CGT... not as nice as the CGT but I'm more than happy with it!
The E-GEAR rocks!!! in normal mode and automatic is great for crusing around town and stop lights. It drives like a regular automatic car. If you like to do the job and also in normal mode is great! but when you are about to hit the rev limiter at about 7800rpm it shifts by itself, but in SPORT mode everything changes!!! there comes the FUN part... the traction/estability control comes much later and this car loves to powerslide!!! no understeer at all... just oversteer!!! and you can really feel the differential changing gears under your seat when you push it all the way to 8000RPM (where it stays unless you shift) The hydraulic lifter is great!!! Also the brakes (made by Brembo) perform 10/10 with the Pirelli's. And despite the weight of the car I believe it's quite fast!
and the hole package is great... TOP DOWN... FREEWAY... DOWNSHIFT TO 2ND GEAR IN SPORT MODE AND ACCELERATE IT ALL THE WAY TO ITS LIMITS FEELING THAT SOLID GEAR CHANGE IN JUST A FRACTION OF A SECOND!
What really surprised me is the feedback that you get from the paddles between the gear changes... because you may have a really fast system as the SMG or DSG but what I care the most is the moment that you press the paddle... the SMG has quite some lag (not the gearbox itself, but from the moment that you press the paddle it takes a little while to gear) In the Gallardo this does not happen... As soon as you press the paddle you shift!
