Thanks man. People can quote published times of CGTs Enzos etc, but I can guarrantee you those cars were tested in ideal conditons. Another thing to keep in mind besides the weather, is the shorter gearing on the 06 Gallardo. This is NOT a drag racer. The fact that you have to shift into 5th on a quarter mile pass costs you at least a couple of tenths and a some mph too! Of course you would make that up on the way to 150, 160mph and above..

Oh yea of course and i understand where you are coming from.. I mean i didnt say it SHOULD be running low 10's lol (so many variables and of course the car itself and what its setup for), its a highway/fun car, sounds/looks/handles and performs amazingly, i understand its not a 1/4 mile drag car so props.. I myself would like to see what my car can do on the strip, maybe soon! Enjoy it in good health!

Thats why I did the mod! This is the best kind of street horsepower money can buy. Unboosted, the car is no different from a stock G. Tap into boost and you have a fire breathing monster. The Gallardo is an excellent platform for this mod too; besides some tire spin in first, this car sticks to the road like it is on its own set of rails.

Congrats man. If I had to pick one car that would be it, and I am a diehard Porsche Guy.

Neither are the other cars...............,but that's besides the point! Nonetheless, great feat and what a great car! Def. looks and sounds menacing. Now terrorize the streets! Didn't mean to come out as a *****, but I'm a pretty technical guy! So when you gonna thow in some race gas and turn up the boost?

Thanks and no worries! I assume you have Ruf car, so you will have the same challenge of launching. I took the stock G to the strip and ran 11.89 with a 1.73 short time. That was childs play compared to this car. It is at whole new level; the car humbled me to be honest.

Hey Justin, no offense taken. Heffner put a new fuel management controller on the car, so we can turn up the boost, but my God, the power it makes on street gas is simply amazing. It will take a while for me to get bored and want more, but it is nice to have options too.

Actually, have you thought about a tune using E85. I know its probably the least of your worries, but its cheaper than some grades of pump gas and has the equivalency of around 110 octane. Plus its readily available at many gas stations! There are some ECU piggy backs out there that would allow you to use several fuel maps depending on your mood!

Yeah, the options are limitless, thanks to the microprocessor. I occasionally do road course days, so for that purpose we will detune and cut back boost! 700rwhp is way too much dick to be swinging around the typical track.

Yea my car will be a ***** to launch!! Right now 1st and part of 2nd under boost are useless, going from a dead stop and short shifting fast into 2nd from first, i cant even imagine the traction loss

BUT i must say, you have the ultimate street car, 2 turbos, insane sounding v10, insane looking and all the traction one can ask for with that power! Let's trade
