WTB 02-04 Murcie

I'm having a harder time than I thought I would finding a solid Murcie. Lot's of stories, too many owners and so on. I'm looking for an '02-'04 6 speed. Red/yellow/orange/blue maybe black with a dark interior. All services need to current and priced to real market. Much prefer to deal with an owner as opposed to dealer. If you run across anything please PM me. Thanks.

Good luck in your search. They are hard to find.

Right you are. There are a couple of good ones that are not listed that have come to light but man oh man is there a lot of junk that I would call "enigmatic" cars.

Many 3 year old cars with a new owner every 6 months. Feels like they may have been treated like a hooker not a long term relationship.

That said, I've talked to quite a few owners that have had very few problems and enjoyed the car. Those are the ones I'm waiting for.

I think you should contact Roy at Cats Exotics (www.catsexotics dot com). From what I've heard, he's got the Lambo market by the "bulls."

I'm serious but that's not a color I'm looking at.

Thanks.

I was looking for my Murci which seemed like an eternity.. Even though I didnt get the "exact" car I wanted, I did purchase from a local dealer with a great rep and they stood behind the vehicle.

These cars are rare and even in higher demand since the 07 models are almost 2x as much... My suggestions is to lower your standards but get a thorough PPI. I know quite a few people who are looking to buy the perfect 03 Murci....

BTW, my 03 had 2 prior owners.

They are still depreciating as is the LP640. That said, I think I'm leaning toward an '04-'05 just to ease the search a bit but I know I'll get hurt worse later on the depreciation.

It's funny how many sellers head for the hill when you mention PPI.

I agree, I had some bad experiences with that! I had one gentleman tell me a PPI isnt neccesary from a Lambo dealer take it to his local mechanic...

What a clown!

Prices havent changed much in the past 18 months for the Murcies, I seriously doubt prices will take a major hit.

I think we are probably saying the same thing. The really good 02-04's may settle a little but not much. I think the '05's will fall more but nothing dramatic.

Still looking and I've had a few cars of interest pop up. All of them by owner and none of them listed.
