2011 IS F updates

The only reason I would ever consider trading in my first gen is the LSD which is something that the Yaguchi team completely dropped the ball on. Suspension is nothing really surprising, I could drop a grand in coils and pull a better skid than the 2nd gen, even with the LSD. Hate the wheels as well, but who really keeps their OEM rollers.
Overall nice upgrades Lexus.........and in regards to no manual transmission option? If AMG doesn't offer one, why should Lexus? Averaging nearly 30 mpg on the freeway with the low gearing of the 8 speed makes me all but forget about driving a slushbox.

The additions are nice, at least the addressed performance related concerns. The exhaust and wheels are minor, most enthusiast will swap them out eventually. I was impressed with the 1st gen, which I have had a lot of time driving. They should offer a DCT as an option on the next generation. The LFA has an automated manual and I'm not sure what transmission the upcoming GS-F will have.

Because it is a preference. (If I've learned anything on here, it is that)

Congrats! PTS is quality stuff and you won't be disappointed. I'm opting for the ISS track exhaust over anything else because of the true quad tips and deeper sound at WOT. You're going to love the performance over OEM

Thanks Umadbro went back and forth on which exhaust to get PTS or ISS went with PTS for build quality as well as sound level PTS is little mellower than ISS but both great exhaust.
Here some pics of rare site two ISF lol

I recently traded in the Cayman for an '08 IS-F and really like the car. I think they did a good job with it, especially considering it was a first attempt at a particular market segment.
The 2011 dash appeals to me. I think they listened to user feedback. I like to see that.

I wonder what the next gen ISF would look like. i like the direction of the GS-F and would be interesting to see how it makes it to the ISF.
Not too worried about a 6-speed. For those who cannot live without it, there is always the option at BMW.
