2011 IS F updates
The 2010 IS F gained a mechanical LSD and for 2011 it gets a revised suspension and its own gauge cluster with the tach in the middle as well as other small differences.

Namely, Lexus has tackled the ride and handling. We found the IS F to be something of a punishing ride off the track and lacking the utterly intuitive steering of the M3. The folks at Lexus apparently agreed and set their engineers at righting those wrongs. To that end, they've revised all the spring rates and shock settings as well as the rear bushings and camber angle, all in the name of improved ride comfort and responsiveness. They also set about tweaking the electric power steering system to improve steering feel and driver control.
Unfortunately, Lexus also caved to recent allegations of electronic gremlins and installed a brake override function on the IS F, likely putting an end to power-braking launches and other such shenanigans.
Topping things off, Lexus also did a little sprucing up inside the car and out. Outside, the 2011 IS F gets some trendy LED daytime running lights while the interior is treated to new gauges, a silver-trimmed steering wheel, "dark finish aluminum" trim and a "Sport" button relocated from the center stack to the steering wheel. Cars ordered with the black interior now get seats with leather bolsters and Alcantara inserts to better hold you in turns. The Terra Cotta interior is out, replaced with a new orange and black leather interior package.

The changes seem well thought out. Motor Trends review of the suspension changes was very positive. I like the gauge cluster and new shift lights and I really like the addition of alcantara to the seat surfaces. I won't be trading my 08 in but its nice to see the '11 getting a refresh.
i would like to see them get rid of the 'fake' rear exhaust tips, one of the now few things left on the car that aren't needed..otherwise this looks like an improvement on an already decent car.
was just at a local lexus dealership looking at one while my car was being serviced, and the subtle differences do add up to make a good car that much better. I specifically love that center tach, and finally an LSD~definitely a great choice for a DD

IS-F Most surprising car I Have driven possibly ever. The car walked circles around the S5. I was so disappointed in the S5 and super impressed with teh IS-F. I am a BMW guy and the fact you cant get a manual transmission on the IS-F kills it for me but I was amazed at how composed it was and how much fun it was to drive. The exhaust note is to die for. I hate the whels in the first few pics but the rest of the changes are nice and subtle. I have to give it to lexus on this one.
