This is different than what is shown on the canadian configurator where the front seat backs are black.

 

It's shown that way in all configurators. No idea why, but this is how it actually will look like. At least that is what my dealer tells me and this picture come from the official Porsche website, so I guess it is accurate.

3D render is inconsistent with the description for this one (obviously Suzy's description is more correct). Render only shows door trim and front storage door changing to leather.

Interestingly the 3d configurator also shows red stitching on the black leather:



All for it if it arrives that way, not fussed though. Bigger difference is the sides of the seat are black in config and red in photos/renders...

 

2 tone leather in 991 and cayenne also have deviating stitching of lighter color on darker dash and door trims, which I love.

can someone please say the red interior is ghastly and horrible so i don't feel bad by missing out on it???

tossing up between a comfort spec (with red/black full leather interior) and a functional spec (with bose, keyless, lane change assist etc) - this is agony

No. Did not order. Was thinking about it. With kids growing, probably will end up with a cayenne.

When I do get the cayenne, will be mahogany metallic GTS, black/red interior with carbon fibre package. Just like that turbo S above!

 

White with red interior would look amazing!

 

Really debating ordering the Red Interior..... I wish I could see this 'garnet red' IN PERSON! Its hard enough to find actual pics or video of it that that arenlt computer generated or photoshopped. Im placing my order this week (for the 2nd time) and im really debating going with RED or just black with my WHITE exterior. UGH!!!! Anyone else have any new pics of it? Thanks in advance

 

Aren't there any dealerships in your neighborhood, that have a 981, 991, Cayenne or Panamera with the Carrera red (= Garnet red) interiror? Especially the 991 Turbo S is pretty popular with the two-tone Black-Carrera red.

Garnet red is just the new name for Carrera red. There's no diffrence in the color. In fact, they call it on the 991 also Garnet red now.

Suzy--Yes, there are. I just wasnt 100% sure that Carrera REd & Garnet Red are the eact same colour. I mean, why would they change the name if there was no difference in colour. Anyway, im sure you are right. Just want to make sure.
