I like the look as well. Much more subtle than all the crazy swishes and other patterns other manufacturers are going to with their LED character lighting.
"The Macan S and Macan S Diesel feature halogen daytime running lights, while the Macan Turbo is equipped with 4-point LED technology. Fog lights are also included as standard for all Macan models to ensure safety on the road, even in poor weather conditions. The Macan S and Macan S Diesel have round halogen fog lights integrated in the front end. On the Macan Turbo, these lights are draw on LED technology. "

All cars have the 4-point DRL. The differrence is that with the standard halogen headlights on the macan S and Diesel S come halogen 4-point DRLs, while with bi-xenon option or standard on the Turbo they come as LEDs. The Turbo's headlights on auto show weren't any different from the ones in the Macan S next to it.

Canadian Macan S Lighting System
While the US spec Macan S gets Bi-Xenon lights with PDLS as standard, the Canadian spec Macan S does not. It only gets the following standard spec:
Halogen main headlight with project type technology and automatic static headlight levelling incl. halogen daytime driving lights.
Front light units with LED position light and turn signal.
Fog lights integrated into the lower front fascia.
Time-programmable courtesy lighting via daytime running lights (Welcome Home function).
Automatic headlights.
3rd brake light (LED), integrated in roof spoiler.
LED taillights with adaptive brake lights.
The Canadian spec Macan Turbo gets Bi-Xenons with PDLS as standard. PDLS Plus is an extra-cost option.

However, I asked it the Porsche people at the LA Auto show as well as my salesperson back here in Switzerland, but both confirmed that all Macans get the 4-point signature lighting in the headlights. That's all I know...
All three Macans on the L.A. Auto Show had the 4-point lights. Two Macan S (both sapphire blue) and a black Turbo.
