Although they are all nice reviews, no one has done a proper review yet. There are no press cars at this moment, so it will take some time before a decent review can be made.
Everything that comes on press now is based on driving half an hour in the passenger seat, while a Porsche testdriver does a standard course. A bit off-road, a bit on-road and a bit track.

Nice to read but not worth much IMO.

Georg Karcher actually drove the car. I'd call that a real review.

Edit: I just clicked the link above and realized that it was not the full review that I have read in the magazine. He was highly impressed and he actually drove it.

Would you happen to have the magazine and a flatbed scanner in close proximity?

Simultanously push the "on/off" button and the "home" button, but I guess you already know that...

Not a Drive but a Ride

Correct. The fact that there are no cars available to be driven by journalists out there was stated quite clearly at the LA press intro - that everybody has to wait until mid-February 2014 to drive the car.

Also, the title of the article is self explanatory in that it is just a RIDE and not a DRIVE: "Porsche Macan S (2013) CAR Ride Review". This, coupled with statements like, "Even from the front passenger seat it feels like...", and "we're riding shotgun" should leave no doubt about which seat the writer was in!

Having said that, I find it a valuable write-up in terms of subjective info from an accredited journalist.

Wonder if the review justifies going out to buy an iPad...

See, now when you read the whole article, it is a little confusing. This article is called an "exclusive first test" and Georg mentions the steering feel. But then he also talks about being in the passenger seat.

Enjoy. Yes, I skipped a page, but it was nonsense. This review is much better than the brief blurb posted.

That would be the most comprehensive passenger-seat review I've ever read Thanks for screening/uploading!

Thanks for sharing.

It is however, like I said, all reviewed from the passanger seat. Besides that, it looks a bit like an advertorial and to me not really like an honest review. He only summs up all the features, but there's not one negative note in the whole story. No car can be that good.... Perfect cars (like perfect people) don't exist.

Nevertheless it's a nice write-up of all the features the Macan offers and it is clear that the Macan is a fantastic vehicle! Not that I expected something less from Porsche
