Anyone have a clear bra / guard put on their Macan yet? If so what brand, what surfaces does it cover, and how much was it installed?

Also, has anyone been able to get clear side markers yet? If so which dealer did you order from? Suncoast does not have them yet.

Still no sign of clear side markers in North America?

 

I haven't seen anything for clear side markers from Porsche yet. I know with the Cayenne we can get clear side markers because in markets outside the US the Cayenne's come with clear vs the US yellow side markers and they just import them for sale. With the Macan there is a yellow side marker in the US and outside the US there is no side marker there at all. So at this point it seems if we do ever see them it will be an aftermarket effort only which could take some time.

 

Yes. Maybe in the ROW (Rest of the World) there are no side markers at all. Most of the PR photos and early shots of purchased Macans on the street in Europe show no side markers. It could be that the front white LED driving lights offer enough visible coverage from the side that it complies with all but US DOT requirements. If so, only US spec cars have a punch out in the front fender for the markers and there will not ever be clear side markers being offered, at least not from Porsche.
