Does Adaptive Cruise Control (and other brands' versions) set off radar detectors of oncoming cars? If so, what radar band/spectrum does is use?

 

Yes they do. My V1 is going nuts around the Macan and the new Panamera. Only good thing is that unlike the Infinity brand and Audi the new P-Car system only seems to register on the V1 after the car passes.

 

Infinitys make my V1 laser go crazy.

I have POP turned off for my LCA but it's still picking up something from the rear that doesn't go away unless I power cycle it. This is only happening with a new V1, my old V1 is silent so I am sending the new one back.

 

I think the majority of radar based LCA and ACC systems use K band. Do you have an option of turning that off on your radar? K band is old school radar as most law enforcement use Ka and Laser (check what is used in your area before turning K off).
