Clearly not an issue for buyers...
The macan is a very well styled (excellent proportions) SUV - especially at a distance which masks its small size. It has a beautiful - although tight IMHO - interior and its price point is attractive (not in its segment - but rather for those who want an SUV from Porsche).
So Moose test failed is irrelevant...lots of americans are drinking the koolaid with blinders on.
Notice I'm the only reply...
And to add insult to injury a 5.5% price hike for the new model year! I have a mental imagine of the Porsche board all drinking beers saying "A price hike? it will never work....will it? Lets give it a try, see what happens."
LOL

I am not really sure what they were trying to do, if you are saying the macan failed, what of other suv's?
The macan is a great seller for Porsche and yes, many have drank the coolaid, but it is the same drink we all have been drinking while spending a lot of money on these cars and now suv's. My 911 has problems a $130,000 car should not have, but I still love driving it.
I do not think Porsche will have any problem getting 5-10 percent more for these cars.
Heck, we are about to get Porsche's with a base and a S having the same engine, but the S will continue to sell at a much higher price..
