Difference in seats

What is the difference in these two seats?
Both on a Macan Turbo.

the bottom ones are the 18-way sport seats. The top ones are the 14-way standard seats.

Is the sport seat a different type of leather or does it feel the same as the standard seat?

ill tell you Wednesday when I pick up my Macan with the 18-way sport seats. I think it would only be different if 1) you get air conditioned seats and 2) if you get the natural leather interior. If you do the standard interior with base seats and non-vented, then you get alcantera inserts and not full leather, so that would definitely be different.

the biggest difference is that the rears on the Sports are also heavily bolstered and so they do not go down flat. adds a 15% incline to the already non-flat lay down of these rear seats.

trying to decide if the extra impairment on the backs when folded is enough to pass on the sports? hard part is the front bolstering is not just good but almost necessary imo.

I have the 14 way seat in leather. My Macan has 5500 miles on it and I have owned it for 11 months. The outer bolster is already showing wrinkling and I would assume will begin to show wear sooner than other parts of the seat. This problem will be accelerated for anyone having the sport seat since its bolster is higher and more in the way as you enter and exit the seat. Before anyone asks I am 5'7" and 150 lbs so certainly on the small side of occupants in today's world.

Is this true on the '17 models as well?
Didn't know about that. We only drove cars with Sport/18-way seats so never even saw/noticed a difference. How "flat" do the non-sport rears fold? We are trying to decide on a build to order and I'm not sure that I want to know/bring it up to her because I think 18-way seats are a must...
