To most car owners, the suspension that comes on their vehicles is enough or at very least, goes blissfully unnoticed throughout their time with the car. But to us, there's nothing more frustrating than that gap. You know which one we're talking about. Fender Gap. Unsightly and oh so spacious from the factory, it can mean the difference between a vehicle that looks sleek and smooth and one that looks rather clunky. But even outside of the appearance, suspension upgrades can create a comfy traveling experience that you can benefit from regardless of length of the drive.

This Macan started life with Porsche's air suspension but even that can be improved on. That's where TechArt stepped in with their lowering module.

Since this was our first install of the module here at the shop, we of course had to get some pictures.



Low Level


Normal Level



At Normal Level, the chassis is lowered by 10 mm compared to the standard air suspension. When driving in Sport Plus mode as well as in Low Level, the vehicle is lowered by additional 20 mm. The Terrain Level however, remains unchanged compared to standard. As a result, TechArt’s Air Suspension Module »Sport« provides particularly sporty suspension settings and maintains maximum ground clearance for off-road terrain at the same time.

Added comfort: the lowered Loading Level. For easier loading of the luggage compartment, the rear end of the Macan can be lowered even more, if the Macan is equipped with the TechArt Air Suspension Module »Sport«.

All in all, we were really impressed with the ease, comfort, and definitely appearance this TechArt module offers. And you can just say no to fender gap!
