Questions about 07 quattroporte

Hi, I am thinking of purchasing a 07 quattroporte with a slight chance of getting a 08. The problem is that the nearest dealership is 2 hours away. Assuming its a regular car with no big problems, how often would I need to go to the dealership for service? Thanks, and any know problems with the 07s or 08s?

My friend barely drives his but I believe he mentioned something about going to the dealership every 4k miles. And his is brand new so I'd guess that yours might have to go a few more times than his. He also mentioned to me that those Maseratis could be a little temperamental so I would factor this into your choice. But if you're only going to be driving it occasionally then I would pull the trigger if you really like the car.

The 07s's and 08's are completely different cars than the previous years. They are incredible maintenance and daily driver wise. The first scheduled maintenance is 12000 miles. There is less than half the maintenance than an 06. They are also automatic transmission cars with blue cam covers. The transmission is the same one used by Mercedes and GM. Indestructable and no clutch problems. This is the Maserati prepared to compete with other elite daily drivers.
