It is not a replacement. It is a software loading system although it takes a bit more. We have to remove the ECUs and disassemble them to install the software. I believe we have the software for a 6spd manual. I'll check on Monday.
What is involved in pulling the ECU's. Can I do it and send them in? Changing an air filter requires a lift pulling the front wheel and fender liner.
Is it doable with some skill or shop only? I would like to hear some customer feedback too.

Yes. You can take out the Ecu yourself and send it to us. It is not too difficult. It is under the passenger floor. The air filter is a bit more difficult, but not impossible. I suggest jacking it up high enough to get your head under the front bumper to see the grooves the air filter cover sits in and the screws too. I have realigned the covers on 40% of the 4200's that I've had that area exposed during work. It is something I would gladly talk you through over the phone to make it easy. Let me see if I can drum up some feedback for you too.
thanks looking forward to some feedback. I have done the airfilter thats why I was joking. I figured ECU pull the motor, lol. Have you dyno'd any cars.

Thank you David for posting. We had a 2007 GTS on the dyno yesterday and have posted the results to our website. Details can be found here: http://www.evomsit.com/Results_maserati_qp.htm
There are photos of the ECU location as well as the dyno results.
