The 650S has caught my eye...though I question how McLaren is marketing their cars. The MP4-12C has depreciated quite a bit, and there is already discussion of the P13 and P15.
The 650S looks like it has great potential and may take the 458S for a run.

I have read the preview in UK Top Gear Magazine.
Looks like an amazing car for a price differential over the MP4-12C that would be bridged anyway if you added a bunch of options to the MP4.

One of the initial criticisms (also levied at the MP4 by the same guys), was an overall feeling of lacking build quality.

Adding the P1-like nose and the bumps in performance are worth the premium.
But for that kind of money, I (as a consumer) would expect Swiss bank vault-like build quality and an interior (including the infotainment system) that reflects the $300k-plus price tag and that does not yet seem to be the case.

Would love to see a face off against the 458 Speziale and the 991 TTS.

I was in the market for a used MP4-12C and almost got one a few weeks ago... glad I didn't as I believe with this announcement that they will take a even bigger hit in the next few months.
That being said... I love what they've done wight the 650s styling wise....
