Still The One: the Iconic McLaren F1

Well unfortunately for me, Mclaren F1 ownership will always be for the very rich. From 100 hours of labor every 4-5 years to replace the gas tank to a clutch that only last 3k-6k miles...

Jay Leno was saying that he took his McLaren in for service and they did the regular check up/repairs... with that was a new windshield wiper. When he asked how much that was? They said it was something ridiculous... over $1000. He told them to take it off.
McLaren F1 ownership is expensive, but you also have to be practical where you spend your money. The Jay Leno example shows that.

will always be my favorite car.....I even owned a McLaren F1 t-shirt as a kid after attending my first ALMS race. Surprisingly some of the best kids I've ever seen as well. Memories of the old NFS games came flooding back....I had the diecast models and everything, I actually know where the two I had still are, couldn't bear to let them go. I'm excited for the P11 like you wouldn't believe!
