well......this car is for a friend of mine.....it has K3 package......he is thinking of taking it to a place i forgot the name.......umm automotive something...however......they said they can make the car hit 1200 HP!!!.....i told him dude thats very dangerous!! 700-800HP is fun but 1200 thats u digging ur grave!!

any ways he is concedering a body kit for the car......mayb new fab design??

any suggestions???

and yea what about rims?? he want something that looks good and light weight......

 

a. Your friend must have some good crack to think that car will EVER make 1200HP. The most that thing may see is 600-650 crank with a lot of work without spray.
b. FAB design is absolutely hid-e-ous. Best bodykit is AMG and if you MUST add a Carlsson Lip to the front.
c. Rims are personal choice, but I love Avus AF-M02 body matched in color on that car. With a lowering module, perfection.

 

I would go for Carlsson lip spoiler its subtle and adds a slightly sportier look to the SL55's already aggressive front. Another solution is to get the F1 pacefar front which is available on the 030 Performance Package SL55's, its identical to the SL65 front.

Fab design is just low in many terms, their look is for Japanese vehicles and wouldnt fit the already beautiful SL.

In regards to wheels you have got many choices, If I were to sum it up and money is not a limit:

a)HRE P40 in Brushed,b)Carlsson U/L16,c) Brabus Monoblock S or V1 "2-peice".

Since he has the Brabus K3 package I would highly encourage him to go for the Brabus wheels,brabus carbonfiber front lip spoiler and add a brabus rear boot spoiler.

I highly doubt he can get to 1,000hp, the members of MBworld are trying to reach 700hp and are nearly close.

 

Sounds like he'd just get away cheaper dumping it for a 65.

Stock is the best body kid... your friend is an odd one... 1200hp... HA.. body kit too - he shouldve gotten a 99 civic Si, those can pump out 1301 hp and you have loads of choices for a body kit...HOLLA

 

1200hp? Nobody currently tunes any Benz for that much power. We did a 730hp Brabus car, and thats the highest Ive seen.

And while I agree with others that the AMG kit looks nice, every SL, be it AMG or not, has pretty much the same front end. My neighbor's 500 ALWAYS catches me off guard because I think its a 55. I'm personally getting sick of seeing the same old kit on the front of those cars.
