can anyone give me some advise regarding the maintenence cost for 08 AMG E63 for 3 years?? trying to get some estimate as i am comparing E63 with the M5.

Doesn't BMW cover the cost of maintenance?
MB stopped that in 2004 (maybe 2003).

Your annual mileage will impact the cost.

Have you driven both cars? They are really different.

 

M5 would cost zero dollars as you mentioned. i am just trying to get some idea what service interval is involved and if the cost is extremely high.

 

For the benz, it is about every 11k-13 k miles, or usually once a year. First service should be under $300 for sure. Next ones I believe are around $300-400. Shouldnt be more then that.

 

$500 every 10K miles on average

but that may not be available on AMG cars. Even so, I cannot imagine why MB would drop the free service when BMW continues to offer it. BTW, I have had both M5 and E55 (not 63), and unless you are going to drive it everyday, the M5 is the hands down choice. Just my .02.....

 

Had my S 63 serviced after 10K for $250...not too bad...
