I don't think these will depreciate like the SL65's as they have a a wider appeal with their trackability.

Here's a dealer in Houston selling a new one for 5K under MSRP. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2008-...em170182561349
Pre-owned private sales are 10K under MSRP. The so called SL65 depreciation has already started.

TUUNER,

I have had a bit of seat time behind the CLK63 Black Series.

Exterior: The overall exterior style of the car is second to none. There is not one thing I would change on the outside, except the rims (and would change them to the ones Atan888 has).

Interior: The seats are incredible, they hug you tighter than the SLR does! The inside is standard Mercedes equipment, nothing blingy or special.

Power: More than enough, the exhaust note is to die for!

Now to the fun part.

Driving: After buckling in, and taking it easy on her for the first 20 minutes, I popped a u-turn and headed back the other way. Knowing there is a pretty good sweeping section up ahead, I hit the hammer. I was at about 120-130 taking a nice sweeping left, holding one hand on the steering wheel, and the other resting out the window. This car is TIGHT, steering is incredible. Right after the sweeping left, I kept it pinned, I'm up to about 140 or so, and hit the right turn, once again, piece of cake, only one hand on the wheel........ go drive one, you'll fall in love, and I'll guarantee you'll be posting pictures of your new WHITE CLK63 Black Series

You are referring to the one in Charlotte. That is a black one. They have a white one in Greensboro which is the one that I was referring to.

We've got one at our dealership here in va with 190 miles on it for 130K. The guy bought it drove it for a few days and then brought it back at a pretty substantial loss.

We have a few customers like this, I think they have more fun buying the cars then driving them.

dealers who still have them are begging to get rid of them. i was looking at one a while back and fletcher jones won't stop calling me, everytime they call saying they'll sell it for $500 cheaper. they were at $4500 under MSRP i think when i told them i wasn't interested and that if they were the last car dealership on earth i would start to use a bike instead aka. even if i was interested, i would never purchase another car from them again.
