except for tire pressure sensors, the clock in the dash, and suspension pumps..oh and of coarse there trans issues.. but other then that the new s class has been good

Mercedes should consider the AMG 65 engine in the new E class instead of the current AMG 63 to compete with the RS6 580 HP's and the new power house with turbos in the M5. see the link

Why would they do that? Production car to Production car the E63 is hands down a better car then the M5 and S6.
If you want more weight just to get a bi-turbo twelve- by all means; spend the money and shove it in there.
I'll take the E63 thank you very much.

Guys, after all of this waiting, if this is the no kidding production interior I am going to be very disappointed. I had made the decision to wait for the 2010, but if this is true, screw it. I am either going to order up a 2009/2010 C4S (given PDK, this option is tough to ignore) or pick up a E550 4MATIC in the next month or so and call it a day... shame on Mercedes if this is all they could come up with post the new S class!!!
