G55AMG/SL55AMG 2008 (pics)
Good day,
Took some photos of my rides, then played with photoshop. Wheels on SL are from SL63/65 2009 and soon rear spoiler will come. Just recieved G55AMG 2008, love it! White designo leather is amazing for G class, rear camera in nice for G class, because of this huge spear wheel at the back. Before I had cayenne turbo, which was nice and fast, but G 55 is different kind of beast, power, sound.... crazy car, comfort is not that great but ok for me.

Congratulations, the G55 is a monster by all means. It sounds close to an SLR and good god who is going to hate the chirp of the Supercharger combined with the brutal F16 sound taking off from a halt.

Looks like the current grill. MY'07 front received gas charged head and fog lights. So called mild face lift, (new grill) is expected on the '09.

How do u like ur G55? Do you have this sound from spear wheel, like metal sound some kind of it, when u drive on bad road???

I've owned 6 G's and its a love hate relationship. The noise your experiencing is typically either the rear door seal in need of lube and or the rear door jam is out of alignment as a result of the excessive weight of the spare wheel hanging off the door. Antiquated design like many characteristics of the G and unfortunately the fix is merely a temporary band-aid. The noise will return.
