C32 AMG, 350hp V6 with Supercharger. You can lightly modify it for some quiet substantial gains.

Isn't the E55 much more powerful though? It seems like the best in terms of price to performance ratio.

Yes it is.

Are you looking for straight line speed? If so step up to a V12TT. ECU/TCU tune and you'll be flying!

Personally, I'd opt for CLK or E55 within MB line. Outside of MB, I'd consider E46 M3, Boxster.

If budget allows, a new C63 or M3 is my best choice for a hi-perf daily.
