I need another daily driver that is a 4 door. Since I need an automatic I am figuring MB may be the best route (I've never owned a MB before though).

I don't really care if it is a lease or finance. I would prefer finance, but only looking to spend up to $700/Month on this one and I don't think with MB that will take you too far financing.

Any suggestions? Any specials going on?

I checked prices (buy/lease ) for an E-350 and CLK
this past Saturday .

I wound up leasing a new (2009) E-350 4 Matic , which I picked off the lot .

I traded in my wife's beat-up 1999 E-320 with 175k miles on it (book value $2500 )

The car has metallic paint ,premium 1 package (wood/leather steering wheel,7 spoke wheels ,heated seats, voice control,Navigation, tel., I-pod nav. etc. )

the deal was :
- my above car as trade in
- 39 month lease
- $ 539 / month
- 0 $ out of pocket . Dealer paid all up front $$ , including sales tax , licensing etc.
- dealer paid first month's lease
- all maintenance costs for duration of lease paid by MB / dealer

I gave him my information(credit, Insurance # etc.),
went to lunch and then drove the new car home.
It was the fastest I ever got into a new car (and it takes care of my Christmas present ) Lol

the "special" on the CLK-350 would have been $ 399/ month
( but you said you need a 4 seater )

The MB "specials" are supposedly available till Jan .2nd
