I would be inclined to believe that this is an inside job..........ie the contractors. Every person i've seen robbed eventually turns out to be a inside job. These guys came prepared and obviously knew you have a benzo. Contractors + Tools + You not being home....addds ups too easily. Just a tought.

I agree. It's most probably an inside job.

Anyway, sorry to hear about that, and I hope the insurance covers it.

Look on the brightside, there wasn't further acts of vandalism on your car. It seems they removed it without or any damage to the bodywork.

I don't think anyone normal would inside your driveway to steal that... Unless you know the kitchen contractor personally I would say there is a very high chance that they did since they already had the tools... just a though... sorry to hear the bad news, hope everything works out

If not the contractor himself, he may very well have mentioned to some buddies the sick Benz this guy he's working for has...

On the bright side, as some have said before, it could have been much, much worse.
