My Benz got robbed in my driveway...
I've always kept my cars in the garage, my old S500 might have been parked outside overnight at most 10 times in 3 years. My S600 is also always in the garage. The last week I was forced to keep the car in my driveway because the contractor that's working in my kitchen has his tools and all the materials all over the garage. I was away the past few days and got myself a rental car and left my car in the driveway for two nights...
I come home on Wednesday to find this...

They took the door and fender moldings from both sides, front and rear tow-hook plugs, all 4 plugs for the jack points. They also stole the metal mesh grills from the front bumper.
I'm not sure who or why... but I know I have a pretty long driveway and the car was parked right by the house, so someone had some ***** walking all the way up to my house to do this. They obviously came prepared with tools.

wow thats odd, awhile back people use to complain about their lexus fog lights being stolen because there was a market for them and they were easy to take. I would never guess someone would go through all that trouble to take your molding kit and jack points, etc... sorry about your loss. Maybe whoever took them is dumb enough to post them in your area recycler or something.
im sorry to see this happened to you sir.
Keep an eye out, them exposing the jack points of your car might lead to something happening to your rims (not trying to jinx you) just a heads up
gl with the resolve of this..

.....At least there does not appear to be paint damage.

That completely sucks. I can't imagine anyone doing that... Hope your insurance covers it. People should just work for their stuff and have respect for others' possessions. Hate it when this happens. Best of luck.
