Just curious, was planning on selling my S4 soon and getting the new S4 this fall, but if I can run my C63 w/ winter tires in the snow/ice (albeit gingerly) I'd rather not have to. Anyone run their x63 w/ winter tread in snow/ice?

car handles pretty good in snowy conditions. make sure u add 100 lbs or so in the trunk to help traction.

My father runs his C63 with the Pirelli Sottozero winter tire, i personally havent driven it in the snow, however he says the car does well. He says it makes a huge difference. Whats good about that tire is that its a high performance snow tire, so you can go moderatly fast with no wheel vibration/shaking.

On my m3 sedan i have blizzaks, they are amazing in the snow as well. However, anything over 80 the wheel shakes/vibrates. Spend a little more money and go for the pirellis'.

Is that really because of the Blizzaks, or did your tire installer do a poor job with the balancing?

Does your dad use 17" or 18" combo? I'd like to keep the stock 18" on some winter tread.

u can just put winter tires on ur stock wheels since u have aftermarket wheels/tires for ur summer set-up, that's what i did w/ my E63.
