Urgent Leasing Question

This Saturday I'm suppose to sign on a lease for my wife's new ML 350. I think I negotiated a good deal except for one item I'm not sure about that the dealer is adding on - a $1,095 lease acquistion fee. They are saying this fee is mandated by Mercedes Financial and cannot be changed. Is this correct? Thanks very much!

kennytt is infamous around these parts
lease acquisition fees are mandatory, however, they can discount this on the original deal so they can pay but not you
