So after reading about the new E-Class and looking at pics on the net boy was i dissapointed in the look, until I saw it first hand on the road today.

What a stunner, in the pics I looked at on the net it reminded me too much of a Lexus, GS type headlights and entry level ES almost Toyota like rear end. the pics are deceiving.

On the road it has a very bold presence and the lights are alot sharper and slimer in profile than pictures lead you to believe, this is very much a Benz! Not sure what trim level this was but in Silver it looked sharp!

 

it looks better in person. i think it doesn't photograph well.

 

Personally, the front is nice but the back looks like it just rolled out of the Toyota factory. Anyways the E class will sell no matter what it looks like, sadly.

 

saw it many times on the roads and it reminds me of kia or huyndai or something korean not japanese. E63 with the amg styling package looks more agressive and interesting

 

the new e gained between 3 and 400#!

 

The E has some serious electronics going on with it also. It is a damn shame that MB doesn't come out and say top this... I like the warning you get on the COMAND when a human is in the Infrared imager... the way it looks at the lines on the road, the little shake of the wheel it gives you if the car thinks you are falling asleep, the way it will apply the brakes and warn you of the crash you are about to have, cruise with the new distronic plus, crap there is a lot... plus the body styling is taken from a 50's model with the arches in the rear... It has grown on me (sedan) however the coupe calls my name...

I would have to say that it looks much better in person than it does in photographs.. I am sure it will grow on alot of people.

 

The Front end looks great... but the lines over the rear wells and back end they could have done better.

Not fond of the back, the front looks decent, but not matter what it's an E Class and it's MB's bread and butter car worldwide. It will still sell many examples.

I thought it looked awful when i was looking at the picture online and then like most people I saw it in person. Which it looks better but not what I would hope. In still think that the c- class is thier best looking current 4 door car. I was hoping that that the e-class would top the good looks of the c-class but I guess not.

 

I thought my neighbor just got one but then I looked again and it was an 09 Camry I saw from the back.
