Hey Steve,

the renntech is wheel is made in the same factory as the champion stuff in Japan, so it is very lightweight. However, I personally dont care for the style too much. I like the 549R in brushed for a silver E55.

will be on my 4th set of RENNTech wheels on my new car, and I can attest that they are the STRONGEST wheel I have ever owned! Put it this way,I hit a 90 degree curb at 30 MPH, flattened my front two tires, but guess how many rims were bent! NONE!

Love them, love the design, and are different from other wheels. Oh yeah, they also have a new design out for the SL, which will fit the E55, so see if you like the new wheel

sporters, I am sorry to be unclear. I will be on my fourth set for my next benz, which will 99% be an 03-04 E55. I had a small sponsorship on my widebody CE36 a few years back from RENNTech, and have had their wheels on a CL, SL, CE, and an E! They were all 19's except the CE because the car was too low, and the new body E500 because the wheels were bought used. I would highly suggest a 19 for an E class, and even a RENNTech 20" monolite if you wanna go crazy!
