Hey Guys,

I just thought I would share my track day with the enthusiast on 6speedonline. Last Saturday I decided to hit the track to see how my current tune is running. The results made the trip worthwhile and I couldn't be more content with my cars performance. The DA was good and during my record breaking run it was at 1680 which was obtained by using my hand held weather station. Here are the slips and video's of my best run. This was done with no nitrous and bolt-on mods. My best time were 11.045, 11.059, 11.065, 11.073, and a 11.089 all between 129.6 - 131.38.

As for now it's the quickest and fastest E55 with no nitrous. I'm sure this record will be broken soon but as for now I'll enjoy the title...,

i've decided im ordering my mods this week. eurocharged here i come...can i have some insight on the mods so i dont waste all my money

 

Let me know what stage you would like to be at or your target budget range and I could make some recommendations. It all really depends on how fast you want to be and if you plan on hitting the track often. My car is setup with a rear reservoir which adds more cooling capacity for daily driving and when at the track I could add ice to cool down my IC. I would say the ice is good for .1-.15 and a couple MPH's. This last time out I ran a 11.150 after four hours of driving and my car only rested no more then a 1/2 hour...without adding ice. thanks so much! its nice to have an independent help me out! If i could get to mid 11's that would good enough for me. I have a pesky neighbor with a bolt on m6, it leaves my e55 in the dust (or well baking its tires at a light) and continues to move on from there.

Thanks guys! I'm so close to breaking into the 10's I could feel it. It's both exciting and frustrating making so many good passes but yet still falling short by hundredths of a second....damn!

congrats on the great numbers...thats wicked fast for no nitrous... what mods do you have done? and what is your car rated at power wise? makes me miss my w211 e55...
