My 2010 E63
The AWE kit is exactly what I was looking for. My car felt strong on bottom end with the stock turbos with GIAC software and IC's but I felt the power delivery flatten out at top. I was looking for a consistant pull to redline without killing my turbos so I knew bigger turbos was the key. I pretty much did everything step by step with ECU first, then IC's and finally the up graded turbos. I was expecting some lag but there is none at all. The car drives like stock but with 200 more horse power. Get a test drive and you'll be hooked.
The best thing about the new E is the tranny and the exhaust note. The tranny shifts so fast, not as smooth in sport mode when your cruising but it downshifts for you when your driving aggresive. In comfort mode it shifts lazy. The car looks way better in person. Many people have been amazed at how good it looks in person. The new shifter takes time getting use to because its a push back for drive and a push forward for reverse then you have to push a button for park. I don't like how they took out the push start button on the shifter. The location of the nav screen is better. The suspension feels better with the steel springs but its not a smooth as before, you feel a little more of the bumps in the road. The better turn in to corners is a good trade off. Over all, I've very satisfied with this new car.
I was thinking the same...sweet ride...I still can't get over the look of the tailights...
Thanks guys, its lowered for now but I'm waiting for KW to hopefully make a coilover so I can go lower. I'm going to stick with the 20's for now, I don't want to hurt performance to much. Car handles and drives great.
