So I have a 2009 CL63 and as I was driving this morning I noticed I was getting really hot. I turned the A/C temperature down and realized it was not getting any cooler. I became frustrated and drove straight to Mercedes-Benz where they informed me after looking at the car that the A/C compressor needs to be replaced. I find it odd that the car already has a compressor that is broken and it is pretty much brand new. Is this a common problem? Appreciate any input.

I have not heard about any chronic problems with the CL63 - this just might be the one in ten thousand compressor failure due to some kind of mfr defect. Bad seals, whatever. The dealer should give the system a good going-over when they replace the unit. An '09 should definitely not be having this problem.
