I agree the turbo/super charged engines won't last like a normal large Cubic inch engine.

They just had a comparo in the latest MT mag...CTS-V vs. the latest E63. The Merc won but it wasn't a slaughter, it was very close. I have never been a big Merc fan but this one is a beast w/ damn good handling abilities (based on the reivew). Usually, the Mercs don't handle well but the reviews said it was neck and neck w/ the CTS-V (which spanked the M5 and the Jag XF-R).
Maybe Merc is getting the memo about sports sedans...

Yeah this whole new small displacement blown engines fad is annoying...
I test drove one, with the perf. pack, and I gotta say they have gotten the memo. My 08 feels like a pig again...
