I am looking to upgrade to an 2006-2007 E500 4matic Wagon. Just wondering if anyone has any info, personal reviews, what to look out for, etc.

I just picked up a 2006 E500 4-matic wagon with 28k miles. I am very impressed with the car - lots of power, seamless 4-wheel drive, Mercedes quality, very easy to drive. I prefer driving it over our Range Rover. I think 2006 is the last year for the E500. No more V8 wagons unless you go with the AMG.

I got it to haul the kids and junk around, but I find myself driving it aggressively by myself because it has a great stealth factor, especially since it is white.

These are fairly rare cars, but every couple of weeks I see one at a Benz dealer in California.
