Hello Guys, maybe some of you can give me some advice on the following;

I'm looking to purchase a 2007-2008 CLS 550 Sport with no more than 35K on her, the car will be a gift for my wife, she is in love with the lines and the looks of the car the car looks awesome BUT,

I have been reading in the Benz forums for the past few weeks and I'm now very paranoid to purchase this type of car and this are the reasons for;

1. The horror stories about the 7 speed transmission.

2. The horror stories about the air suspension.

3. So many complains about owners and former owners.

My cap for this car is 40k but all the vehicles that I have looked at don't have any warranty so I think this is a huge risk.

For the same money I can get a 2009 Jaguar or BMW, please share your thoughts before I make a 40K Mistake thanks in advance

 

Do like i did and buy her a Lexus LS600H She will love you for it, its a MUCH better car.

The Lexus LS is a amazing automobile what do you mean whats up with my avatar?

 

I did a search and those LS600 are indeed very nice but the price range looks out of my budget what about the LS400? I was referring to your avatar because thats a very nice picture, the looks of those Benz are amazing and I really like the CLS looks

 

Gotcha the LS460 is a great choice i would never put my wife in a Benz and im a Benz owner, to many issues and i feel the Lexus is a better car for her type of usage.
