C32 with engine protection mode !
My car's failure is not like they describe with glycol contamination .....but today it started to show the problem that is the same when you put the car in parcking and hit the gas pedal......after 4000 rpm its very slow and the kopressor does not work. Today it happend from first to second gear and in second to third . Please advise again that Colombia is far away from amg headquarters and my problem is getting bigger.......a part takes a month or more to be here.......also like I wrote before, the mb tech said it was because the air going inside the engine was too hot, that's why we order the ic water pump.....let's all cross fingers.thx
That is what that sounds like. Is it typically hot where you are? If so you want to think about getting a Johnson cm 30 pump. It flows more which keeps the temps down cause these cars are prone to heat soak.. When you get heat soak the supercharger will not kick on because temp to high so the computer shuts down the kompressor to protect the motor. If it is hot where you are and drive the car hard you will experience this even after replacing the pump. That is why you will have to upgrade to Johnson pump. I live in California and when it was hot I went thru the same thing until I upgraded to Johnson pump. You can find em on eBay..
You got exactly what is my problem . Bogota is not hot, but that day I got in a traffic jam and it was a hot day......Like I told you I already order and pay for half the price of the original mb pump. The other thing I noticed is that the coolant is a bit dark and thick/dense and maybe it can be the original one since my car is only 30.000 kilometers that is like 17 k miles. I will flush it and change it. About he Johnson pump, where else different than ebay can I get it. The only way of paying in ebay is with paypal and they do not accept Colombian credit cards there........How is the installation and the wire connection of that pump?thx
Problem solved, mb dealer change the water pump that cools the kompressor radiator and now the air going inside the engine is 65 degrees and its reving ok.thanks to all.now I have back my fast c32 ///AMG.
